Message from the Jury Commissioner:

If you receive a call regarding your jury service from someone claiming to represent the Court or law enforcement, IT IS A SCAM.  The Court or law enforcement will NEVER call you about your jury service or ask you for money.  Do not under any circumstances pay any money in response to such a call.  If you receive such a call, please contact the Court or law enforcement, or the FBI at (415) 553-7400.

Elimination of Bias - Community Survey

Monterey County Superior Court Joint Committee on the Elimination of Bias is committed to working within our community to help identify and eliminate actions that prevent us from achieving a fair and impartial court environment.

To gain a better understanding of the biases experienced in the legal system within Monterey County, our committee is requesting that you fill out this survey.  In doing so, please consider the following definition of bias, according to the Oxford English Dictionary: prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.  All answers will remain anonymous.
